This week’s study takes us into the story of Saul and the Israelites’ desire for a king. That happens in the Book of Mormon too. Neither story ends well (spoiler alert).
We all know what it’s like to want things our way, to struggle with obedience, or to wonder whether small choices really matter. As we study these chapters in 1 Samuel alongside inspired messages from modern prophets and apostles, I hope we’ll remember that the Lord is patient with us and always inviting us back to Him. There’s so much peace in choosing God again and again, even when the world encourages us to choose differently. I’m grateful we get to study together.
